Job Description
WAVE Designs is looking for a highly motivated Sales & Operations Manager to join our team. We are a growing and established A/V integrator providing custom installations for residential and commercial properties throughout Puget Sound.
Job Description
This position will manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established by the Owner and President. Maintaining and building a strong pipeline of residential and corporate prospects to design and sell a system that fits their needs. This position requires proven leadership skills, exceptional customer focus, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a demanding industry. Customer service focus will be critical to ensure we are able to meet our customers’ needs with exceptional service and timely installs.
The right candidate will have excellent organizational and customer service skills, the ability to communicate well with prospective customers, supervisors, and coworkers, and will excel in a team environment. Strong personal and professional judgment along with a thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles is a must.
Operations Responsibilities
• Oversee operations and staff
• Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
• Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
• Assist HR/Office Manager with recruiting when necessary.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
• Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
• Support worker communication with the owner.
• Organize & maintain scheduling
• Conduct quality control walk-throughs to make sure projects meet certain organizational standards.
Sales Responsibilities
• Prospect and cold call established builders, architects, and interior designers.
• Creating and maintaining excellent customer relations.
• Demonstrate services and abilities through presentations to trade associations and prospects.
• Manage incoming sales inquiries.
• Creating estimates, invoices, purchase orders & change orders.
• Ordering & tracking inventory
Job Requirements
Previous experience managing staff required.
Strong sales background with at least five years’ experience.
Sales experience in the consumer or commercial electronics field preferred but not required.
Sales experience in the residential or commercial construction field preferred but not required.
Experience with selling and designing the following types of systems are preferred:
• Lighting Control
• Automation and Integration
• Motorized Shading
• Home Theaters
• Networks
• Distributed Audio and Video Systems
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Have a keen interest in technology.
Requires a mix of office and fieldwork.
