Experienced Resi. A/V Techicians can make up to $85,000 a year while working 4 days a week!
Innovative AVD is a forward-thinking integration firm that operates on a four-day workweek for non-management positions. By joining Innovative AVD, you will have a set schedule featuring four 10-hour shifts per week.
We are seeking a detail-oriented lead installer to handle the following throughout the Philadelphia area (~90 min radius of office):
- Installation of Residential A/V including Control4, Lutron, & Josh.AI control systems
- Landing, testing, and labeling infrastructure wiring for home technology systems
- Installation of speakers, low-voltage lighting, TVs, motorized lifts, shading systems, Wired & Wireless Networking systems, Racking & Power Management Systems, and more
- Daily check-in/check-out with site photos and communication to the designated project manager
- Task list completion within D-Tools Cloud
- Daily Time Clock Management- Clocking in and out of appropriate project
- In-Field training of a designated apprentice technician- train new hires on the basics (TV mountings, speaker installs, rough-in wiring, etc.)
- Operation of a company-provided vehicle
- Position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. frequently, and operate on any combination of ladders, scaffolding, or other non-flat surfaces
- Applicant must have a clean driver’s record, valid license, and pass a drug test
- Position will be background checked prior to any offer being presented
- Some overnight work may be required for specific flagship remote projects- all with advanced notice- expenses covered by company, and OT available
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience within the Residential A/V industry- Custom level A/V integration experience preferred
- Control4 Certification Mandatory
- Lutron RA3 Certification (Within 30 days of hire date)
- Lutron Homeworks Certification (Within 60 days of hire date)
- CEDIA Certification (Within 90 days of hire date)
- Fluent in OVRC & Domotz
- Expert in all Low-Voltage terminations (RG6, Cat6, Shielded Cat6, Keypad terminations, phoenix connectors, fiber, etc.)
- Ability to read architectural drawings, Device Location Plans, RCP, MEP, Manufacturer Tech Drawings, and more
- Ability to assist in basic network deployment (Araknis/EERO)
- Ability to work with remote IT support team for advanced network deployment (Fortinet/Ruckus,etc.)
