Job Description:
Lead Service Technician needed. You will assist clients and team members in troubleshooting the following systems: Lutron Homeworks QS, RadioRa2, Savant, Sonos, 2N, Harmony Remote, Sony Television, enterprise grade Wi-Fi and Siedle systems. You will mainly be working in high-end residential and some commercial environments in and around New York City, Brooklyn and Long Island.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Fielding inbound service requests via phone, text and email
- Managing external service platform that fields and routes support calls
- Managing internal ticketing
- Proactively schedules installation and work service/support
- Debugging software and on-site during installation (Savant & Lutron)
- Troubleshoot network problems & bottleneck
- Process of ingesting completed projects into service portal
- Represent service plan to clients at project handover
- Maintain and update service agreement as necessary
Work Experience: 2 years experience in programming and installation

Starting Rate: $75k annual and health insurance contribution
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of general experience in troubleshooting, programming and deployment of smart home automation systems
- Written, verbal and physical presentation must be sophisticated and refined
- Ability to act as an intermediary between a programmer and deployed system
- Knowledge of Lutron QS & RadioRa2
- Knowledge of A/V Distribution and Matrix Switching
- Knowledge of Savant Home Automation
- A/V and Networking Racks setup and buildout
- Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Up to date with smartphone apps and integration
- Ability to proactively suggest alternative solutions/methods
- Clean and Valid Driver’s License
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of access control systems – 2N, Siedle, August lock and other motorized locking systems
- Experience installing media devices
- Ability to use power tools to achieve optimal results in the finished product
- Experience working on construction sites, interfacing contractors, clients and other trade
- Wire termination
- OSHA 30
- Ability to lift heavy items (50lbs +)
