Job Description
We are looking to add a qualified, organized, professional Lead Technician with at least 3 years of experience to our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional, reliable, and hardworking individual with an attention to detail. Being able to provide detailed documentation of all work is a requirement so that communication between the field team and office is effective. We are looking for someone that is a forward thinker, team player, problem solver, can hustle and dig in and get dirty. Has aptitude and experience with specific brands/products (listed below) and is looking to further grow their skill set.
Job Requirements
Experience
System Components & Useful Knowledge:
- Remote Controls: URC Remotes (Programming & Configuration)
- Control System: Savant & Crestron (Hands-On & Programming)
- Lighting/Shading: Lutron Homeworks QS (Hands-On & Programming)
- Networks: Araknis (Routers/Switches/WAP’s) or Equivalent
Rack Maintenance & Wire Management:
- Ability to wire, label, and maintain a clean rack layout and wiring scheme.
- Leave an easily serviced and tidy space for future service needs.
Installation:
- Capable of reading blueprints/plans and translating the details into reality.
- Ability to pull low-voltage wire, test/terminate, install equipment including speakers, TV’s, projectors, screens, racks, networks, control systems (Savant), lighting and shading systems (Lutron HWQS & RA2), camera systems.
- Environments: Retrofit/New Construction & Indoor/Outdoor
- Organize fellow technicians as necessary.
- Low-Voltage Installation: 3 years (Required)
Programming:
- Debugging software on-site within the given systems (URC, Savant, Lutron)
- All client requests and modifications (URC, Savant, Lutron)
- Savant Programming: 1 year (Preferred)
- Lutron HWQS Programming: 1 year (Preferred)
Quality Control (QC)/Punch List/Troubleshooting:
- Determine punch lists based on system conditions.
- Resolve installation issues to produce a flawless and turn-key product.
- Expert knowledge of signal flow and methods to trace issues and resolve.
Client Training:
- Ability to train an end-user to control and be comfortable with the finished system.

- Communication & Jobsite Documentation (Company Cam)
- File Storage (Google Drive)
- Excel
Physical Capability:
- Ability to lift and manipulate a 75lb package.
- Ability to climb a 25’ ladder.
- Ability to work in tight spaces (attics and crawl spaces).
- Operate in a non-climate-controlled environment (Summer/Winter).
- Work inside and outside in various weather conditions.
Driving Capability:
- Driver’s License
- A clean driving record.
- Ability to drive vans/trucks.
Language:
- English (Fluently-Required)
