Job Description
- Maintain extensive knowledge of entertainment and automation systems
- Demonstrate programming and software expertise
- Ability to identify client needs and provide technology solutions
- Knowledge to discuss pricing and product benefits
- Work with staff to complete proposed projects
- Identify sales opportunities and possible referrals to grow company
- Develop sales proposals and present to clients
- Follow up on project progress and keep clients in the loop
- Work closely with a system designer, on-site contractors, builders, interior designers, clients, and client representatives to complete the job on time and within budget while exceeding the client’s expectations
- Professionally qualify clients, budget and propose high-end luxury electronic systems including estimating, billing, product lead times, and change orders
Job Requirements
- Have a strong interest or knowledge in the latest smart home technology, coupled with personable sales skills that build knowledge and trust with clients
- Possess or be able to quickly obtain full technical product knowledge in electronic systems i.e. entertainment, networking, communication, smart control, and security
- Don’t mind working in the office or visiting a client property and are flexible with phone and video calls to conduct consultations
- Can take charge of analyzing client current technologies and needs to make recommendations and provide solutions that impact client home lifestyle or business operation
- Are able to follow up quickly with clients that need repair and upsell upgraded components or systems by presenting options and following through with a proposal
- Are comfortable taking discovery calls with new leads by showing clients various options based on their goals and follow-up with clients
- Take complete ownership of a project from relaying proposed plans to project managers and programmers to making sure systems are installed properly on-time and within promised budget
- Seek and build relationships with architects, designers, developers, builders and other luxury trades people that will generate project leads and additional sales for the company
