Job Description
- Create audio/visual wiring diagrams, architectural drawings, calculations, and submittals for projects
- Act as a resource, providing technical assistance for projects during bidding, design, permitting and construction
- Responsible for taking the conceptual design and bill of materials from development to installation
- Provide complete code-compliant designs inclusive of device layouts, system circuitry, calculations and detailed drawings
- Provide efficiency reviews and/or value engineering options for existing designs
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and project personnel
- Understand overall theory of audio visual, lighting controls, and shade controls
- Research latest home automation and AV technology and provide recommendations regarding purchasing and upgrading equipment
- Test, monitor and conduct regular maintenance and modifications systems
Job Requirements
- 2+ years related experience
- Proficiency with DTools, Visio and AutoCAD is required, Savant Blueprint knowledge a plus
