Job Description
The Warehouse Manager will oversee operations in our warehouse to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Their duties include logging all products entering and leaving the warehouse in the database. Keeping track of all warehouse products belonging to specific jobs and stockpiles. Organizing all power tools and keeping a list of tools entering and leaving the warehouse. Staging product for each job each day and setting up job transfers. The warehouse manager will also need to keep track of all defective product that needs to be sent back to the sender and the replacement that arrives.
Job Requirements
- Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Desire to learn more about the industry and new technologies and advance in the company
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
- Must have a means of commute
- Passion for the industry
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
- Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications
- Punctual
- Ability to crouch, kneel and work in confined areas for extended periods (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
- Read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, schematics and wiring programs
- Be flexible
- Work cleanly and efficiently
- Be willing to learn new technologies and skills
- Use power and hand tools skillfully and safely
- Climb ladders
- Must be able to keep a clear record of product returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Friendly, cooperative and compromising disposition
- Adhere to company safety and quality standards to projects
- Time management, diligence, and attention to detail
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects
- Keep accurate records of receipts, job changes, equipment used
