Job Description
- Write, install, and troubleshoot control systems used in residential and commercial applications including Savant, Crestron, Control4, Vantage, and/or Lutron

- Create, load & modify code
- Program devices
- Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of code
- Develop and maintain user interfaces for touch panels
- Develop system recovery protocols in the event of destruction of all or part of the system or components

- Work with project managers and installation team to help diagnose both hardware software problems at client sites or remotely in the office
- Responsible for programming small and large-scale jobs and assisting service technicians at job visits
- Rewrite and debug control systems programmed by others
- Perform programming related jobs necessary to finish projects or service calls
Job Requirements
- 1 year experience with any of the above or related programming or passed one or more programming classes
- Working knowledge of basic networks, including wireless networks
- Understand RS-232/422/485 wiring interface, including device communication protocol
- Knowledge and integration of A/V, lighting, climate control, shades, security, and other systems
- Demonstrate knowledge of custom theater installation including shades, screens, motorized lifts, and remote control programming.
- DMC-E required
- Certification preferred
