Interactive Interiors, located in Denver, North Carolina, is hiring Home Automation Programmers/Technicians. We serve customers throughout many of the Eastern states Including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Interactive Interiors is a custom audio/video sales and installation company that has experienced rapid growth and is looking for experienced technicians to join the team and help take us to the next level. In this role, you will help define the culture of a growing organization by playing an instrumental role in custom home integration, custom project installations, and helping to ensure our client’s satisfaction – before, during and after their installation. Installation and programming the following products and systems: Lighting Control and Shades, Networking, Audio Video, CCTV and Security.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform custom AV installations in new construction and retrofit jobs for residential and commercial projects.
- Install and program home automation systems including: lighting control, security, wired and wireless networks, shades, etc.
- Work with fellow teammates to offer exemplary customer service that leaves an outstanding impression on our clients.
- Work with the Project and Installation Manager to complete all projects and manage client expectations.
- Expand knowledge of the AV industry through product training and seminars
Job Requirements
- Self motivated with a “can do” attitude with great customer service skills.
- At least 2 years experience with any major home automation platforms, specifically Elan.
- CEDIA certifications and manufacturer training certificates
- Ability to pass a background check, must have a clean driving record.
- Ability to lead and work well with a team.
- Knowledge of the Consumer Electronics industry.
- Previous security installation is a plus.
- Ability to work indoors and out
- Ability to climb a ladder and lift 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools along with test equipment
Work Environment:
This job operates in a field environment. The field environment will be on construction sites or inside existing buildings. Working conditions can change dramatically from one job to another.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
- Travel to job sites and customer locations within assigned regions.
- Overnight travel may be required.
